Rine's vacation ch 3

The Naga boy was astonished by her reaction, and also sad. He wanted to talk with her a little more, but she went away suddenly.
"I'm sure that she isn't in this forest anymore: she clearly teleported away. Stupid me! But then again, she said that she had a bad experience with a snake, so maybe she doesn't trust me yet. Mmmh…now what to do? Oh, yes!" he said, then whistled, and after a while an Indian Leopard came, walking outside from the forest.

Then he spoke to the Leopard with a telepathic link, "I know about Rine, could you please keep an eye on her, and tell me where she usually sleeps?"
The animal nodded, and answered, "Ok, Narayana, and usually she sleep onto the Flat Rock: she like that place."
The young Naga smiled, and thanked the big Cat. "Thank you, some time we could hunt together, I owe you a favor, brother!" he said, in the usual manner.
The leopard nodded, and left, returning into the forest.

"The Flat Rock, uh? Well, well, that's interesting. This night I have to go there. I'm sorry to use that trick, but I NEED to know," he said, thinking about a specific spell he learned, reading a book that was preserved into the temple.
His species was curious just like Rine's species was…and Narayana was also stubborn.

Rine was lying onto the rock, in her Panther form, crying softly. "That stupid Naga! I was so happy to chat with him, saying unimportant things! Why he had to make those questions? Then again, I knyow that Nagas are curious, like my species. But it was really nyot his business!" she said, but in reality she was happy that he made those questions, even if she would not admit it.

"Nyow, what I have to do? I want to remain here, because I like this place, and even if I don't trust him, I want to know if he's bad or good. He seems to be OK, but I knyow that Nagas tend to be nyaice one moment, and angry another moment. Maybe he's different…he even looks different than other Nagas I knew…more human-like…but I knyow so little about his clan," she stated, frowning, and sighing.

At first she decided to go at the village, to ask the villagers about him, but then she decided not, because she thought that maybe he used his hypnosis or charm, to make them like him, even if she had the impression that he won't do such a thing.
In the end she decided to go hunt a little in the opposite side of the forest, then go to sleep.
She hunted down a female Hog deer, all alone, and she ate her over a big and sturdy tree, then she teleported onto the Flat Rock, to sleep, after cleaning herself in one of the smaller river.

The Leopard alerted Narayana about Rine being asleep onto the Rock, and the Naga transformed into his snake form, a Giant Rock's Python with the scales like his Naga's tail, slithering into the forest, reaching the place.
Rine hadn't the barrier around her, since she didn't thought that she was in danger so the snake-boy saw her in her Panther form.
He had the barrier around, to not being spotted by her, and she found her rather cute.

He waited until she fell soundly asleep, looking at her breathing and movements.
Then he became again a Naga, and, using his strong tail's muscles, and his arm's muscles, he climbed up the Rock, and circled Rine with his tail, touching her paws slightly, and leaning the end of his tail onto Rine's head, carefully, standing in front of her.

She was so exhausted that she didn't even sense those touches, and a smile spread on her feline features.
This brought a smile on Narayana's lips, and then he became serious, whispering the antique chant, that permitted him to see Rine's memories and thoughts, through dreams.

He fell asleep, chanting, and he entered into the dream realm, into Rine's head, piloting her current dream into what he was searching, with some antique's words.
The Neko Demon was unaware of his presence, since in the dream he had also the barrier, and she found herself in Pittsfield , into the huge apartment in the Hotel, in her nekogirl form.

She frowned, puzzled. "What? I was having such a nyaice dream…why I'm in this bloody place again?" she asked, since she had the ability to pilot her own dreams, when she wanted.
In that moment Asmodeus entered into the room, and glanced at her with a devilish look.
She gasped, scared, looking at him with a worried expression. She wanted to run, but something hindered her.

"My, my…so you returned, after all. Now it's time to bind your mind fully to me, and this time I would be sure to remove that little ability of yours to resist hypnosis, my kitty," he declared, looking at her malevolently, going toward her.

"No! This is nyot possible! Nyou are DEAD! I want to exit from this nightmare! HELP!" she screamed, trying to move.
In the dream, Narayana opened his mouth, to say some words, to stop that dream, but nothing came out.
Asmodeus was near her, and he started to hypnotize her, blocking her, holding her shoulders, and starting his usual colorful rings in his eyes.

She was helpless, and she looked into his eyes, getting lost in them, even if she tried to resist.
"Yesss…don't resssissst…my hypnosisss isss stronger thisss time, you cannot resssissst, my kitty!" he said in his lulling and irresistible voice.

"I…I…ooohnya…cannot resist…Master Asmodeus. Tell me what nyou want me to do, I will obey," she said, with an emotionless tone of voice, without love. She was like a machine.
He grinned, and ordered her, "First of all, you have to go to Leda and Rika, and kill them. Then, return here, and I would give you other instructions. Go, my kitty, and you will rewarded at your return."

She nodded, and answered, "Nyes, Master Asmodeus, I will kill them, because you ordered to me. They mean nothing to me, I only love you, Master!" said that, she teleported into Leda's mansion, and killed the two enchantress while they were sleeping.
Narayana watched all of that with horror, trying to wake both of them, to exit this nightmare, this time his voice returned, for some unknown reason.
When Rine killed the two women, he noticed that her eyes were lucid, like she was crying, and he had an idea.

"Rine! Wake up! This is only a dream!" to wake her up, because he knew that even if under hypnosis, a small part of her subconscious was awake and fighting.
Then he remembered that Rine wasn't her name, and so he searched into her memory for her real name.
"Sorry, I hope that you would forgive me. Oh…there…Rika…Rika! Wake up! Rika! Wake up!" he said, both in English, and in the antique language.

Something shifted into her, and she went out of trance, while she was in front of Asmodeus, in her Panther form, ripping him in half, making him disappear, together with the nightmare.
She woke up, and she found that she had done the same thing outside the dream, tearing Narayana's chest with her powerful claws.

He was lying on the Flat Rock, bleeding copiously, his tail still around Rine, his arms spread opened onto the rock, and his head dangling on the rock's end, breathing feebly, and looking really pale.
Rine gasped, panicking, and then she runs away from him, thinking that he had done something REALLY bad.

She jumped off the rock, and then she stopped, thinking, and frowning. I can't leave him die! He's the last of his clan! But I need to talk to him, later! She thought, jumping again on the rock, looking at him, half worried, and half frowning.
She took a huge breath, and then switched onto her old powers, grunting in pain.
The Neko Demon licked thoroughly his wound, healing him completely, and then collapsed for the effort: the pain was unbearable.

Rine was into some sort of coma: it happened every time she used too much of her old sacred powers.
Narayana woke up, grunting and feeling weak. He touched his chest, and he was surprised to not found scars on it.
He frowned, and then he sat up slowly, to see what had happened.

The Naga gasped, seeing Rine sleeping, or so it seemed like that, but when he touched her forehead, he knew that she was in a coma.
"What happened? I remember the nightmare…poor thing…I bet she had some difficulty trusting snakes, after knowing Asmodeus, the Demon of Greed. Heck, I would too! Then she hit me with her claws…I was sure to be dead…wow…she's really strong! And now I'm alive, cured, and she is in coma…or sorts off…from what I can sense, she is only in a really deep slumber," he said to himself, thinking about what to do.

He took quickly his decision: take her into the temple, to help her accelerate her healing.
He coiled her with his spires, gently, and he used another magic learned in that book, teleporting himself and her into the old temple.
Unlike her, he could use this spell only once a day, because it was really energy-consuming.

The Naga placed her in one of the rooms, over some fluffy pillows made of silk, in a comfortable position.
He chuckled, when she smiled, making bread and purring on those cushions.
Then he went into another room, to take some potions and ointments, spreading them in various points of her Panther's body.

Then he stayed near her, to watch her reactions to the substances.
She was breathing more normally, and she had a pacific smile on her feline features.
"They seem to be working. Oh my Gods…what I've done? If she decides to leave this place forever, I wouldn't blame her. Poor thing…she must have been traumatized by that Demon's memories, to make that nightmare. I would try to redeem myself curing her!" he said, in a resolute tone of voice.

The night passed, and the morning came, but Rine wasn't awake yet, so Narayana used the potions and ointments again.
She seemed to be more relaxed, and he sensed that she was almost cured.
He stayed with her all the time, and at noon he ate some fruits, asking at a monkey to bring them to him, and the Gray Langur ate with him, looking at Rine: he knew her, because he saw her hunting in the forest.

The Langur thanked Narayana, and left, leaving him with the Neko Demon.
Around the middle of the afternoon, Rine squirmed a little, mumbling some Japanese words, but she was alright.
Just to be sure, he used the potions and ointments again, and waited, touching her forehead to see if she was going to wake up.

Night came, and she was still in her deep sleep state. The Naga ate some bread and meat, this time with a Leopard Cat, which was eating some meat, curled into Narayana's coils.
The Cat left, thanking him for the shared meal, and the Naga watched the Neko Demon with a worried expression, and she was still sleeping peacefully.

He decided to stay awake until she was awake too, but the night was long, and he was exhausted, his head was lolling, and he had some difficulty to remain awake, blinking, and yawning.
In the end, he fell asleep, falling onto the pillows, near Rine, and with his tail curled around the sleeping Panther
